Bates numbering is used in the legal and medical fields to place consecutive page numbers, unique identification numbers or date and time stamps on documents.

  1. Choose the files to which you wish to apply Bates numbering.
  2. Configure the format, layout and range of the numbering.

Layout

FlexiPDF applies Bates numbering in any of 6 fixed areas – 3 in the header and 3 in the footer area of each page. You can fine-tune the positions of the header/footer by adjusting the margins used during the process.

A header and footer region is super-imposed onto each page during numbering.
