Note: BETADIST is supplemented by the new function BETA.DIST with additional functionality, which is available in newer versions of Microsoft Excel (2010 or later).
Syntax:
BETADIST(X, Alpha, Beta [, A, B])
Description:
Returns the beta cumulative distribution function.
X is the value to be evaluated.
Alpha and Beta are shape parameters of the function. They both have to be greater than zero.
A and B (optional) are the lower and upper bound to the interval. If they are omitted, A is set to 0 and B is set to 1 (thus leading to a normal distribution).
X must be in the range A to B.
