Note: CHIDIST is supplemented by the new identical function CHISQ.DIST.RT, which is available in newer versions of Microsoft Excel (2010 or later).

Syntax:

CHIDIST(X, DegreesFreedom)

Description:

Returns the right-tailed probability of the chi-square distribution.

X is the value to be evaluated. Must be ≥ 0.

DegreesFreedom is the number of degrees of freedom. Must be ≥ 1 and < 10^10. Integer numbers are expected. Digits to the right of the decimal point are ignored.
