Automatic hyphenation hyphenates long words at the end of lines. This works fully automatically as you type.
However, the hyphenator is available only in the following cases:
| In text frames, automatic hyphenation is enabled by default. |
| In table cells, automatic hyphenation is not active by default. However, for cells that contain multiline text, you can enable this, if desired. |

Important: Of course, hyphenation only provides correct results if you have set the correct language in the program settings. To set the language, choose the command File | Options 
, switch to the Language tab and select the language from the dropdown list Default language.
