Spell check

The spell check checks a document's text for typos and suggests corrections in the event of errors.

This section describes the different spell check tools in detail. The information covers the following topics:

Manual spell check

The manual spell check lets you check and correct possible spelling errors of the current worksheet.

Checking the spelling as you type

The Check spelling as you type function immediately checks each word you type. When a typing error is detected, the program displays a dialog box that lets you correct the word.

Editing user dictionaries

When you teach the spell check new words, they are added to your user dictionary. You can edit this dictionary at any time, for example, to delete incorrect entries.
