The spell check checks a document's text for typos and suggests corrections in the event of errors.

▪Checking the spelling as you type
The Check spelling as you type function immediately checks each word you type. When a typing error is detected, the program displays a dialog box that lets you correct the word. |
When you teach the spell check new words, they are added to your user dictionary. You can edit this dictionary at any time, for example, to delete incorrect entries. |
