PlanMaker has a wide variety of features – but don't worry: you don't have to master all of them! While you're getting started, just use those you need. If you would like to make use of PlanMaker's more advanced features at a later stage, you can then read the relevant pages of the manual.

This manual is structured as follows:

▪The chapter Installation and program startup deals with the installation of PlanMaker. You also learn how to start the program.

▪The chapter Application window describes the individual components of PlanMaker's main window.

▪The chapter Basics provides information on PlanMaker's most important functions and explains basic spreadsheet terminology.

▪The chapter The PlanMaker tour deals with the spreadsheet application in tutorial form and shows you how to use PlanMaker by means of some practical examples.

▪The chapter Editing worksheets marks the start of the reference section of this manual. These chapters are organized by subject and provide a detailed description of all functions of PlanMaker.
