You can remove the text from a header at any time by clicking in the header frame, selecting all the text and then simply deleting it.
You can also remove the header frame completely, although this is not usually necessary. To do so, proceed as follows:
| 1. | Position the text cursor within the header frame. |
| 2. | Click on the icon  in the contextual ribbon tab Header and footer. |
The header frame is now removed along with all its content.
The procedure for removing footers is similar.
