You can use the command Table | Split table to split a table horizontally. The original table then becomes two tables.
To do so, proceed as follows:
| 1. | Position the text cursor in any cell of the row above which the table is to be split. |
| 2. | Choose the ribbon command Table | group Merge and split | Split table  . |
The table is now split into two separate tables.
