Use the Data source tab to modify settings related to the chart's data source area (i.e., the cells containing the data the chart is based on).
▪Data source area
Lets you specify the cell range containing the data the chart is based on. By default, the cells selected when the chart was created are used. Normally you do not have to change anything here. |
▪Data series are in section
Lets you specify how the data source area will be arranged in the chart: by columns or by rows. For more information, see Changing the arrangement of data series. |
▪Data source area contains section
Lets you specify what kind of data the data source area consists of. |
Tip: If the first row of the data source area contains headings for the data listed below, check the Names option. PlanMaker will automatically label the data series with the corresponding headings. |
▪Include hidden cells
If the data source area contains cells that have been hidden (see Showing and hiding rows/columns)), these are normally not displayed in the chart. Enable this option if you want hidden cells to be displayed as well. |
