Hiding objects

FreePDF: The Hide objects feature is not included in FreePDF.

You can temporarily hide objects to make it easier to edit the layout.

Hiding objects

1.Use the Object tool icon_tool_object from the Quick access toolbar, and select one or more objects that you want to hide.
2.Choose the ribbon command Format | group Objects | Hide icon_objects_hide.

Showing objects again

1.Select the Object tool icon_tool_object and point to any object or text box so that the additional ribbon tab Format appears.
2.Choose the ribbon command Format | group Objects | Hide icon_objects_hide, but click on the arrow of the icon to display its menu rather than on the icon itself. Select Show all here.

Alternatively, you will also find the command by right-clicking to open the context menu and then selecting Show All there. You can also simply press the shortcut key Shift+F12.

Notes
