FreePDF enables you to insert files into a PDF document via drag and drop.
Dragging a single PDF into the document window
By dragging and dropping a single PDF file into an open PDF document, you can:
▪open the file in a separate new tab of the current program window
▪open the file in a separate new program window
▪insert the pages of the PDF into the current document
▪place one page of the PDF onto a page of the current document
▪compare both PDFs side by side and scroll synchronously, but only if they have the same number of pages
FreePDF: The last two options are not available in FreePDF.
Dragging multiple files into the document window
By dragging and dropping multiple files into FreePDF's program window, you can:
▪open the files in separate new tabs
▪join multiple PDFs into a single PDF (only possible if all files are PDFs)
▪create a new portfolio document (single PDF that contains other files)
▪add images to the current page (only possible if all files are images)
▪create a new PDF photo album with one image per page (only possible if all files are images and no document is currently open in FreePDF)
▪compare PDFs side by side and scroll synchronously (only possible if two PDF files with the same number of pages are stored)
FreePDF: The functions Join multiple PDFs, Portfolio and Compare PDFs side by side are not available in FreePDF.
