This section provides a list of the most significant differences between PlanMaker and Excel:
General differences
▪PlanMaker is unable to execute macros and VBA scripts stored in Excel documents. If you open an Excel file that contains macros or scripts, they will be ignored.
| However, PlanMaker will not remove them – if the file is saved in Excel format, the macros and scripts will remain functional. |
Arithmetic functions
▪Some of PlanMaker's arithmetic functions are not supported by Excel (and vice versa). If you open or save a document in Excel format, a warning message will be displayed if the file contains incompatible arithmetic functions. For more information, see Opening and saving Excel files.
