FreeOffice: Export as movie is not included in SoftMaker FreeOffice.
Note: This function is not available for Linux, macOS or the Android/iOS version.
The ribbon command File | group Document | Export as | Movie exports your presentation (more precisely: its slide show) to a movie file.
Proceed as follows:
1. | Create or open the desired presentation. |
2. | Choose the ribbon command File | group Document | Export as | Movie. |
3. | A dialog box appears. Make the desired settings there (see below) and confirm with OK. |
4. | The slide show is now played in a window. At the same time, it is recorded as a video file. |
| If your presentation contains transitions or animations that have to be advanced manually, use the space bar or press the left mouse button to continue at the desired speed. The resulting movie file will then use the same timing. |
5. | When the slide show has finished, Presentations stops recording and saves the movie file. |
To view the resulting video, open the movie file in a video player of your choice.
Notes
▪If you want to temporarily pause the video recording while it is running, you can always click on the button with the pause icon.
▪If you want to stop the recording before the slide show ends, click on the button with the stop icon.
