Welcome to the TextMaker tour!

On the next pages, we will introduce you to some of TextMaker's basic functions using practical examples.

When working through the exercises, don't be afraid to experiment with new commands as you become familiar with them! Even if something goes completely wrong, it won't matter at all. For each new lesson section, we have provided an example document which you can open and use as the basis for the next section.

Note: Most of the illustrations in this manual were produced with the Windows version of TextMaker. On other operating systems, some of the controls look slightly different, but their functionality is the same.
